Simple Things announce lineup for 2018 festival

By Rhys Buchanan  Thursday Jul 26, 2018

Simple Things is set to return on October 20, but not quite as we know it.

Due to the temporary closure of the festival’s hub Colston Hall, the event will be slightly more streamlined than previous years, with separate day and night tickets available.

Heading up the daytime are shoegaze legends Slowdive, followed by fast rising Australian indie group Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever.

Elsewhere experimental names like James Holden And The Animal Spirits and Kamaal Williams will be performing. Another one to look out for are Bristol’s very own post-punk outlaws Lice.

The night time keeps up the pace with sterling talent from far and wide, whether that’s the lauded German DJ and producer Helena Hauff or Bristol’s legendary techno pair Giant Swan, we’re certainly in for a treat.

Tickets are available from 9am on Friday through www.tickets.crackmagazine.net
