Simple Things Festival returns

By Laura Williams  Friday Oct 3, 2014

If you thought festival season was over, think again. Since shifting from a spring festival to an autumn festival last year, Simple Things has secured its place as the city festival of choice as the days get shorter and the nights longer.

With a strong indie electronic and alternative vibe, this year’s acts include the likes of Mogwai, Death From Above 1979, DJ Harvey, Liars, Black Lips, Nightmares on Wax, The Haxan Cloak, Eagulls, Kode9 and more – with a few local additions to boot, including Scarlet Rascal, Idles, Oliver Wilde, The Fauns and more.

Taking place on October 25 at the Colston Hall, Simple Things has already sold out its pre-party event at Motion the day before featuring Caribou, so you better move quick to secure your ticket!

It’s run in association with Crack Magazine and has this year launched a sister event in Glasgow, taking place on November 1 and featuring some but not all of the acts playing the Bristol event.
