Simple Things to host evening with Bristol Women In Music

By Rhys Buchanan  Tuesday Oct 31, 2017

The people behind Simple Things aren’t letting the dust settle after their mammoth October festival. Now they’ve announced that they’re to collaborate with Bristol Women in Music for a night at Watershed.

The event is supported by Arts Council England and will explore the agenda for progressive narratives in the contemporary music landscape. They say that this will be an evening of enlightening discussion and informal conversation at the harbourside venue.

Amongst other things the night will include a panel discussion on remaining authentic when tackling equality, a workshop on image and identity in the modern music industry and an informal networking session. Topping it all off will be resident DJs of Bristol Women In Music at the Watershed cafe bar.
