SLONK releases new single

By Amy Grace  Friday Jan 10, 2020

Whilst we all settle down into the new decade, lo-fi folk punker SLONK is busy reminiscing about a brief love affair from last winter. The subject matter in his latest single is a tender ode to a Christmas tree, Tracy is a song filled with jangly goodness and hilariously morbid lyrics – “I step over her body as I leave for work”. The inspiration for this song came after the festive period, the bin men didn’t pick Tracy up, leaving her to rot until the Spring time.

Tracy is the first single to be released from the upcoming album “Where Do You See Yourself In 5 Years?” which will be released later this year. In the meantime, Tracy has 3 B-Sides you can get sunk into.
