Smoosh!: a magnificent musical meander through Knowle West
Smoosh! will be spoken about in Knowle West for years, decades, generations to come.
Do you remember that day when we followed musicians through the streets? When smiles were infectious? When neighbours danced together as a banner of Kate Bush lyrics was held aloft? Was that Teardrop by Massive Attack played on a xylophone?
Smoosh! is meant to be written like that: with an exclamation mark. And never has punctuation been more apt.
is needed now More than ever
There was unbridled joy not once but twice on Friday as a 70-piece wind and brass band accompanied by a team of dancers took to the streets for their magnificent musical meander.
