The Fauns announce first new music in 10 years
After a decade-long hiatus, The Fauns have announced the date of their highly anticipated third album, How Lost.
The Fauns’ journey began when they self-released their debut album in 2009, followed by the 2013 release of their sophomore album, Lights. Both works garnered acclaim from both critics and the shoegaze-loving fanbase alike.
Their third album has unfolded gradually over the subsequent years, led by three original members: Michael Savage, Alison Garner, and Guy Rhys Davies.
is needed now More than ever
In 2019, accomplished soundtrack composer Will Slater joined the band, catalyzing an intense period of songwriting. This latest album bridges The Fauns’ transformation from their earlier incarnation to their current evolution.
How Lost is due to be released via Invada Records on January 19, followed by a string of tour dates in conjunction with Rough Trade.
The Fauns released their first debut single from the album in November while a live show at London’s Cavendish Arms in December saw the band’s first live performance since 2015.
The band will celebrate the release with live shows in London, Nottingham and Bristol.
The Fauns will perform a hometown show on January 20 at Rough Trade, tickets are on sale now and can be found at https://dice.fm/partner/rough-trade/event/
