The world’s only touring jam calls into Castle Park
A group of musicians played in Castle Park for more than five hours on Tuesday afternoon and into the evening, “in support of mental health, liberty and medical choice”.
Jam for Freedom are on a tour across the UK, with their visit to Bristol coming the day after they played at Stonehenge on the summer solstice.
Any musician or singer is welcome to join in at one of their shows, with Jam for Freedom claiming to be the world’s only touring jam.
is needed now More than ever
“The Jam for Freedom is a pro-happiness, pro-love and pro-freedom community with the primary goal of aiding mental and social health through the power of live music,” Jam for Freedom say on their website.
“Due to the fact outdoor mental health groups are allowed and with live music being a significant benefit to mental health, our live music for mental health work remains essential.”
