Thurston Moore to play intimate show at The Louisiana

Sonic Youth legend Thurston Moore has just announced an intimate solo show at The Louisiana as part of the venue’s 30th anniversary celebrations on November 27.

The figurehead of alternative rock music is quite familiar with Bristol now having played The Fleece and The Lantern in recent years accompanied with his full band. Although this show lovingly put on by promoter 1% of One will be a much more intimate beast in the 140 capacity venue.

Expect thoughtful, considered and precise guitars as he’s often seen onstage these days reading sheet music to deliver his songs with maximum clarity. The set should mostly feature songs from the most recent solo album Rock N Roll Consciousness which was a soaring and masterful piece of work.
