Top Bristol underground promoters host 12 hour secret warehouse party for Ukraine
If you’re a house, garage and breaks fan, or in fact, just a fan of Bristol’s underground electronic scene, you’ll have at least heard whispers of the names Subtrax and Eminent. An events promotion collective and an all-encompassing dance music organisation respectively, its no mean feat to say that these are two of the hottest names on the tongues of the tastemakers in the city right now.
House-heads will know of Cinthie and her productions. The Berlin born producer has been on the scene for around three decades, bringing her signature yet indefinably wide-reaching style to eagerly awaiting audiences since the early 90s in her hometown. And now, she’s on her way to Bristol.
Somehow, the Subtrax/Eminent guys have managed to wrangle a three hour set from the revered DJ, and there’s no doubt that Cinthie will be laying down the vibes across the three hours, exploring the many corners of the house and techno spectrum, both on vinyl and digital formats.

There’s also going to be a back to back house set from top of the ladder Bristol garage DJs Dr. Dubplate (of ec2a fame) and A for Alpha. Both are known across the city for their killer selections when it comes to UKG, so you can be certain that’ll translate to an interesting house set from the pair.

But this isn’t just a good old knees-up. The undoubtedly big night is for a good cause. 50% of all of the profits made are to be donated to various humanitarian organisations who are currently working to offer support and relief to those affected by the crisis currently taking place in the Ukraine.
The party itself also boasts a 12 hour license, running from 10pm on Saturday April 16 all the way to 10am the next day. What’s more, its being powered by none other than the Nexo Alpha soundsystem, the very same setup used to power the Blues Stage at Glastonbury in years gone by.

To top it all off, the 12 hour mega-party is being held in a secret, currently undisclosed BS1 warehouse. And if previous “secret BS1 warehouse” parties are anything to go by, the vibes will certainly come correct.
Tickets are currently on third release at £13, and can be purchased here.
