These are the benefit gigs taking place in Bristol for Ukraine
Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February, people around the world have been eager to help out where they can.
This includes several charities who will be holding benefit concerts in Bristol in order to raise money for the people of Ukraine.
With each event offering a different genre of music, you can find at least one gig on the list which will be to your taste.

Ukraine Benefit Gig Vol.2, The Louisiana – April 28
Following on from their first benefit gig on April 9, The Ark and The Louisiana partner up to raise money for the Disasters Emergency Commitee as part of their Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. The lineup for volume 2 includes Martryials, The Outlines (featuring Big Jeff), John E Vistic Rock N Roll Soundsystem, CUFFS and The Brackish.

[The Blast] x Intrigue // Ukraine Fundraiser, Thekla – May 1
Bristol drum’n’bass promoters and Intrigue are coming together for an epic club night on the boat with all proceeds going to charities aiding Ukraine. Featuring an incredible selection of artists including Alibi, Krust, Monrroe, Jakes and Texas, to name a few.

HELP – War Child Benefit Concert, O2 Academy – May 2
In partnership with Friendly Records and Crosstown Concerts, War Child UK is bringing a huge Bristol lineup to the O2 Academy with all proceeds being donated to the charity. Taking place on the Mayday bank holiday, the concert will see the return of Portishead who play live for the first time in seven years and IDLES perform their only hometown gig of the year.

Ukraine Benefit Event, Bristol Beacon – May 14
Bristol Beacon plays host to a special Ukraine gig with all proceeds going to the Disasters Emergency Committee. The event will feature spoken word performances and live music from Bozarts Band, led by Patrycja Kujawska. The performance will include music from different cultures and will conclude with the Ukraine national anthem.
