Valley Fest announces first wave of acts for 2023
Valley Fest returns for it’s ninth year to Chew Valley Lake from August 3 to August 6.
Only a 30 minute drive from Bristol, the music and food festival returns this summer with live acts and DJ sets for the whole family.
The first wave of acts announced include a lineup full of nostalgic artists, including the Brighton pop-rock band The Kooks, London band Scouting for Girls and the pop trio Bananarama.

Elsewhere, the festival will see a whole host of DJ sets and entertainment for festival-goers.
Altern 8, Crazy P (DJ set), Norman Jay MBE, Krafty Kuts, The Legends of Goldie Lookin Chain (live show) Plump DJs and Booty Bass are all on the bill.

As well as a huge lineup of music, the festival promises a whole load of entertainment including Arcadia’s Alchemist Playground as well as The Woodland Tribe which will be on hand to help build a playground out of reclaimed materials.
New for 2023, Elly Phunk, will offer DJ lessons for kids and teens and there will be eco-bubble making and Junkfish inflatables for the little ones.
The Lord of Lightning will also return, shooting multi-million-volt bolts of electricity from his body.
Luke Hasell, festival founder says: ‘Guaranteed good times ahead! And we’ve only just started. Families, you’ll find something for your toddlers, teens, parents and grandparents! Everyone needs to GET ON MY LAND!’
