Beyond Face presents: We Are Here to Share

By Sarski Anderson  Monday Dec 5, 2022

After its inaugural, sell-out event, Beyond Face is returning to Tobacco Factory Theatres to present an evening of early stage work from exciting global majority artists from Bristol and the wider south west region.

Forming part of the company’s Artist Development programme, this eclectic night will feature short performances of spoken word, new writing, dance, comedy and much more.

With a view to keeping the night as accessible as possible, ticket prices start from £5, going up to a maximum of £10.

Beyond Face artist development producer Corrine Walker is passionate about supporting creatives at all points in their journey: “We are thrilled to continue to be able to offer a range of opportunities for local global majority people, supporting them in the development of their craft and career no matter what stage they’re at,” she says.

“The We are Here to Share events are such an exciting showcase of the amazing talent we have in the South West and we look forward to continuing to be able to host such talented performers.”

Funding from Arts Council England has enabled Beyond Face to grow their capacity to support artists, offering new experiences, peer support and even employment opportunities.

From April 2023, they will be joining ACE’s national portfolio, which will enable them to expand further in supporting new talent, whether artists are most interested in performance, stage management, directing, or any other of a raft of creative avenues.
