Connections plays capture themes often relevant to the young people, such as climate change and relationships.
The Heights, written by BAFTA-award winning creator of Derry Girls, centres teenage protagonist Lillie, who imagines stories to escape from her uneventful life on her estate.
The acclaimed theatre in South Bank is hosting the 28th year of the festival, where audiences will enjoy eight new plays and two that have been performed in previous festivals.
St. Brendan Sixth Form perform at the National Theatre 8.30pm on June 21. Tickets are on sale here. Singular plays, all of which are captioned, are £5 each, or one can watch two back-to-back productions in one evening for £8.
