Bristol company seeks actors, writers and directors
Bristol’s Circle Theatre is searching for writers, actors and directors to perform with them at their new event, The Inner Circle. The evening will consist of a series of ten-minute performances, providing a platform for the new voices, and radical ideas, and helping to kickstart theatre during COVID.
Writers will be paired with directors, and directors will be paired with actors by Circle. You are encouraged to rehearse remotely, via video-call, before sharing the finished product at Bristol bar and music venue Zed Alley (pictured above) on Saturday, December 5.
“The Inner Circle will be an evening of all-new monologues, curated by Circle Theatre. Actors will perform with no props, no set, and no lighting changes,” explains Circle’s dramaturg Jonathan R. Parsonage. “It’s the perfect setting to demonstrate your skills, and we’re so excited to see what you can bring to the evening.”
