No pantomime this year at Bristol Hippodrome

By Martin Booth  Wednesday Sep 23, 2020

Bristol Hippodrome’s pantomime this year has been cancelled due to the ongoing impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

It was inevitable but will still be sad news for many people for who it is an annual highlight.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs has been suspended until Christmas 2021, with John Barrowman still due to perform as the Wicked Queen.

In a statement, the Hippodrome said: “We can confirm our 2020 pantomime Snow White is moving to Christmas 2021/22. While this is sad news, we are so delighted that the show and its star John Barrowman will return next year!

“We will be contacting all customers directly as we move your tickets to the corresponding 2021/22 rescheduled performance and appreciate your patience as we manage a huge amount of orders and enquiries.

“All together now… Pantomime will be back! Thank you to everyone who continues to support us as we work tirelessly towards re-opening our beautiful theatre and bringing you the shows you love.”
