Behind the scenes at Old Vic Theatre School
A one-off documentary will air on BBC One on Monday, about 26 final year acting students at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and their difficult journey in the three months leading up to their graduation.
The programme will take the audience backstage not just at the famous theatre school but also at the Bristol Old Vic.
As the students work towards completing their education and final productions, they are also competing for the prestigious end of year Peter O’Toole Prize, in which only two of their number will be offered contracts at the Old Vic.

For the winning two students, it will be their rite of passage into the professional world.
The documentary will show viewers the challenges, stress, dedication and euphoria of the students’ tough journey from professionals in-training, to working professionals in the real world.
On Stage, Bristol Old Vic will air on BBC One on Monday, November 9 at 7.30pm
