The Book of Mormon is coming to Bristol
The Book of Mormon tells the tale of two Mormon boys on a mission far from home, discovering the true meaning of their religion and community. The hit show is now heading to Bristol, opening on Wednesday, January 15 2020.
Written by Trey Parker, Matt Stone and Robert Lopez will be showing at Bristol Hippodrome for the first time.
Since making its world premiere in March 2011, the musical has won nine Tony Awards, has been performed on three continents and won over 30 international awards.

Writers of the show, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, are also the creators of television show South Park. Music composer Robert Lopez co-created the Broadway musical Avenue Q and co-written the songs for Disney’s Frozen and Coco.
The cast of The Book of Mormon in Bristol will be led by Kevin Clay as Elder Price and Conner Peirson as Elder Cunningham, playing the lead Mormon duo.
The pair have a strong cast joining them, including Nicole-Lily Baisden as Nabulungi and Will Hawksworth as Elder McKinley. Ewen Cummins will play Mafala Hatimbi, Johnathan Tweedie will be Joseph Smith and Thomas Vernal plays the General.

A show not to miss, The Book of Morman has sold out every one of its 2380 performances to date at the Prince of Wales Theatre in London’s West End and Ben Brantley from The New York Times said “the best musical of this century”.
