Wardrobe Theatre: fundraising ends on Sunday

By Bristol24/7  Thursday Jan 28, 2016

The Wardrobe Theatre’s £70,000 fundraising campaign ends this Sunday, January 31. The venue is now full open, but some elements of the refit still remain to be paid for.

Your donations will go towards:
– Acquiring the theatre’s lighting equipment, which it is currently renting
– Final adjustments to the walls and doorways to be made by a carpenter
– Refurbishing the theatre’s entrance to create an effective marketing resource
– Resources to recruit and train new box office volunteers and theatre ushers
– Fully equipping the theatre office

Joint artistic directors Matthew Whittle, Jesse Meadows and Chris Collier say: “Even though the venue is now open, there are lots of elements that we still haven’t paid for yet including all of our lighting equipment.

“We are not trying to chase people who have already given to give more: we’d just like to encourage those who were planning to donate to do so as soon as possible!”
