Introducing Bristol24/7 Presents panellist: Zahra Ash-Harper

On July 8, Bristol24/7 will be presenting the latest in its series of Bristol24/7 Presents events. 

The event, which is held in collaboration with the Bristol Innovators’ Group, will be exploring the theme of innovation and how can fast-forward Bristol’s economic recovery.

We are pleased to announce our final panellist who will be joining the event:

Zahra Ash-Harper

Zahra Ash-Harper will be a panellist at the event.

Zahra Ash-Harper is a creative producer focused on inclusion in the arts. With 10 years of experience in the arts and communications sector, she believes in a more equitable futuring process can deliver a more equitable future.

Starting her career in Bristol six years ago at the Pervasive Media Studio within Watershed, Zahra had a focus on providing practical and pastoal support for creative residents, designing and delivering interactions, programmes and events which brought new people into the studio and inducted long term residents into an evolving culture.

Now working as an independent creative director for inclusion, Zahra steers, designs and delivers inclusion programmes for her communities as well as a range of creative sector clients.

Over the past 10 years, she has supported many creative organisations in Bristol in creating welcoming and respectful spaces, with appropriate opportunities for diverse practitioners from various lived experiences.

Her work aims to consciously reduce those harms that are made possible because we are learning at each other’s expense, by teaching the embodied behaviours that can produce change, whilst centring care and accountability of intention, experience and outcome in the process.
