All you need is Love (Saves The Day)
With brand new areas to explore, a stellar lineup and a diverse range of genres, expect Love Saves The Day’s eighth year to be its biggest, most diverse and most ambitious festival to date.
The festival began in 2011, with humble beginnings in Castle Park. Quickly outgrowing the centre, it moved to Eastville Park, where it has grown year-on-year.
Always ensuring love-fuelled excitement, this year brings new stage designs, the festival’s most inclusive lineup yet, as well as much-loved food traders and a reliably great time.
is needed now More than ever
This year’s lineup includes big names such as Lily Allen and Chase & Status, as well as upcoming talent in Jimothy Lacoste and Lady Leshurr.

Lily Allen is among the headlines at this year’s festival
Expect jungle beats from Congo Natty, the best new RnB from Radio 1 DJ Jamz Supernova, Bristol’s own Jenny Wade, playing an eclectic range, showcased through her slots on Noods, a radio station based in the city.
In this time of division, Love Saves The Day is encouraging love and acceptance more than ever. Welcoming anyone and everyone to the festival, they are working to ensure Eastville Park remains a safe space for everyone, saying: “We are coming together to share a love of music, creativity and dancing.
“We are all responsible for other members of our community, for looking out for them and for doing our best to ensure that everyone has the best possible time when we come together.”
Standing against hatred, inequality and violence, the festival is this year highlighting its’s love for the earth as well. Encouraging festival-goers to be as environmentally friendly as possible, Frank Water will be providing refilling stations and re-useable bottles.
On being eco-friendly, Love Saves The Day writes on its website about glitter and festival gear: “We all love to don our glitter during the summer season, but there are plenty of biodegradable and vegan-friendly companies you can source it from. The high street fashion industry is one of the biggest contributors to our current climate emergency as well. Instead, take inspiration from retail styles and customise existing clothing, or shop in one of the many Bristol charity shops to give unused clothing a new home.”

Love Saves The Day has always shown a true appreciation of the music scene, bringing the best of Bristol music and acts further afield to the city. This year, with their added emphasis on valuing each other and the planet, they’re spreading the love even further.
