Invitation to trade at Ship Shape Craft Fair
An invitation is now open to all independent crafty traders who would like to showcase their wares at Ship Shape Craft Fair at the Colston Hall on May 10.
This fair will be the first for Ship Shape and it will include all local Bristol crafters and artisans selling unique handmade and upcycled items. Entry is free as are craft workshops taking place throughout the day.
is needed now More than ever
“I have attended many craft fairs up and down the country and I’d always found the experience fairly lonely,” says organiser Nikki Druce.
“Making crafts can quite often be an isolated lifestyle as many people work from home on their own so selling at a craft fair is a great way to meet customers face to face and build some great connections.”
Druce began her love affair with craft six years ago when she launched her own jewellery line, Devine Delinquents and has always been interested in making an event for others to feel part of.
There will be more than 35 stalls selling everything from needle craft, handmade cards and furniture to art prints and more.
Crafters already involved include Little Red Apple who create handmade cards; Glass Heart Art whose beautiful glass mosaics include landmarks such as the Clifton Suspension Bridge at sunset and Kat Winifred who sells henna creations and prints.
To get involved please email [email protected] or contact them through Twitter @shipshapecraft or Facebook @shipshapecraft.
