Preview: The BS3 Jamboree
A free, family-friendly event is coming to Bedminster on Saturday, 22 June. New for 2019, The BS3 Jamboree will be a fun-packed event of music, food, local traders and entertainment.
With popular events such as the regular Tobacco Factory Sunday Market and the annual Upfest, south Bristol is no stranger to feel-good events. The BS3 Jamboree is simply a new addition to the area’s impressive roster and enjoyable for everyone.
Music will be played on an outdoor stage hosted by the Bristol International Jazz & Blues Festival, with musicians including Jonny Bude Band and Bristol’s James Morton. Los Gusanos will bring Colombian and Brazilian jazz grooves and The Will Edmunds Blues Band will Lower North Street with high energy blues and funk.

North Street foodie favourites, including restaurant and street vendors, will keep party-goers well fed, and traders will also be selling local produce and handmade items.
Family-friendly entertainment such as workshops, talks, games and performances will be provided as well.
Charities including Alive will have a stall, as well as organiser The Old Bookshop, who are also hosting a BBQ. Other highlights include raffles, bars, DJs, jumble sales and face painting.
With everyone from Toyville to North St Standard joining the party, Bedminster is bound to be filled with fun and laughter all day long.
