Singing Songs

By Martin Booth  Friday Oct 10, 2014

The fifth annual festival once again celebrates the human voice in all its manifestations.

On Saturday, October 11, the festival’s opening weekend will see 25 groups singing in a 12-hour vocal extravaganza at St George’s from 10am until 10pm.

The following day, 27 choirs will be taking part in ‘Song Raids’ – singing from onboard the Matthew, the Bristol Ferry Co. ferries, M Shed steam locomotives, in front of the Hippodrome, and from the City Sightseeing open top buses to Clifton Village where singling will take place in Clifton Arcade and Boyces Avenue.
