Preview: Viva!City Ethical Life Festival
Think festival season is all about sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll? Think again. On Saturday, July 14, Viva!City Ethical Life Festival is set to take over both City Hall and College Green for a day of eco-friendly fun.
The celebration of all things ethically made and plant-based will include live music, vegan food and stalls selling ethical gifts outside on the grass of College Green. Inside City Hall there will be even more stalls, as well as lifestyle talks, recipe demonstrations and even free yoga classes. It’s the perfect opportunity to try out something new.
is needed now More than ever
The festival is organised by vegan charity Viva!, who have been championing animal welfare and environmental causes for almost 25 years. Since then, the charity’s events have guided countless people in the direction of a healthier, more sustainable diet.
This summer’s festival in Bristol is part of a nationwide series of such events that are targeted not only at people who are already vegan, but anyone who is curious about moving towards a more plant-based, compassionate lifestyle. It’s a great chance to learn about different ways to make your everyday life kinder to your body, animals and the environment and to meet like-minded people.
Tickets for the day-long festival cost £5 for adults while under 16s go free. To get ahead of the crowds and skip the queue, buy your tickets online in advance by visiting www.viva.org.uk/festivals/bristol-vivacity-2018
