Win tickets to Porto Primavera Sound 2015

By Bristol24/7  Wednesday Apr 1, 2015

The sister festival of Primavera Sound in Barcelona attracts many of the same acts as its Spanish counterpart but comes with half the price-tag.

Set in the finest city in Europe, Bristol-aside, you can spend the days exploring our twin city – the beautiful bridge, rustic terracotta roofed buildings and exquisite Port-tasting.

Then come late afternoon you head west to a park by the sea (you get a great view of this flying into Porto) for an all night party with some big music names.

This year sees the likes of Patti Smith, Ride, FKA Twigs and more gracing the many stages. There’s some shit hot DJs taking you into the early hours too.

It’s a friendly crowd and as well as entry being cheap as chips and flights and accommodation being pretty cheap too, the food and drink is also cheap.

The whole thing costs a few hundred quid and you get a nice holiday to boot. Make sure you try the Portugese custard tarts (Patas de nata) when you’re over there, they are out of this world. The Franceschina, less so. You have been warned.
