Big Dyke Energy announce first ever queer festival
Big Dyke Energy is the south London record label and self-proclaimed OG queer ravers who will be bringing their first ever festival to Bristol.
Originating from a need for a safe space for queer women, non-binary, intersex and trans+ people in south east London, Big Dyke Energy prioritises respect, kindness and consent, with a strict zero tolerance policy towards any form of bigotry discrimination.
Taking place on June 10 at Propyard, the event will see eight artists across two stages for a 12-hour dance party.

As well as a stellar lineup, the festival will also have chill out areas, community workshops and food vendors for party-goers to indulge in.
The team will even be offering a direct coach service to take ticket holders direct from Hackney or New Cross Gate to Bristol and drop them off at the end of the day.
The event also promises local queer welfare team and queer security staff as well as affordable ticket prices alongside a pay it forward scheme for low income members.
Speaking about the event, DJ and party boss, Melo said: “We’re both buzzing to bring the energy and vibe of our London parties to my home city of Bristol and showcase some of the best artists in underground dance music.
“It’s a true celebration of diversity and individuality, where the LGBTQIA+ community and allies can come together to feel free!”
