Celebrating the city’s refugees
Bristol Refugee Festival is revving up for a whole month of exciting new events this June and July.
Formally known as Bristol Refugee week, after last year’s decision it has been turned into a whole month of celebrating refugee’s contribution to the city.
This year’s packed programme includes a melting pot of activities, exhibitions and events. Arnolfini will host the official festival launch, on Monday the 19th of June where music, creative writing and artwork produced by Bristol’s refugees and asylum seekers will be exhibited for free.

Another highligh of the festival will take place on the 12th of July A Bristol refugee Rights Fundraiser with live music and a Sudanese meal will be enjoyed at Salt Cafe in Hotwells.
