Flash Father’s Day competition

By Jess Connett  Thursday Jun 14, 2018

We’ve teamed up with The Downs Bristol to find the coolest dad in Bristol this Father’s Day.

The Downs Bristol are offering up three pairs of tickets for this year’s one day festival, on Saturday, September 1  2018, which features Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Paul Weller, Orbital, Goldie & The Heritage Ensemble, The Heavy, Khruangbin, Nadine Shah and Dream Wife.

Did your dad party with The Rolling Stones? Was he at Portishead at Bristol Trinity or Massive Attack at Ashton Court Mansion? Or was he at Knebworth when Oasis played to 250,000 people? He may be balding now, but did he have dreads down to his waist back in the day?

If this sounds like your old man, then we want to see some photographic proof. To grab a pair of tickets for Bristol’s best one day festival for you and your dad, all you need to do is dig out the best snap of him from back in the day and share it on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook.

Make sure to tag in both @TheDownsBristol and @Bristol247 to make sure your entry is eligible. The best snap from Facebook, Instagram and Twitter will each claim a pair of tickets.

A winner from each social channel will be decided on Monday June 18, giving three lucky dads a great late Father’s Day surprise.
