By Bristol24/7  Wednesday May 2, 2018

From a Mexican twist on some familiar tunes to Americana Cornish-style, there will be plenty of variety among the main stage lineup at this year’s Grillstock festival.

Taking place on June 30 and July 1 at the Lloyds Amphitheatre, headliners Fun Lovin’ Criminals and Black Grape have already been announced.

Brand New Heavies, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, The Mariachis, Dutty Moonshine Big Band, William the Conqueror and Novatines will be joining the lineup on Saturday.

On Sunday it will be the turn of The South (featuring ex Beautiful South singer Alison Wheeler), Hackensaw Boys, The Wandering Hearts, The Adelaides and Welcome Back Delta.

Grillstock managing director Barry McMurdock said: “Our lineup this year is all about making sure that our fans will be dancing in the amphitheatre from gates opening through to the final whistle.

“We’ve got US legends heading over as well as some of the best country, rock n roll and Americana sounds around in the UK at the moment.”

This year’s festival will also feature the usual street food, eating competitions and craft beer, as well as a new family area, while the King of the Grill competition will be overseen for the first time by the prestigious Kansas City BBQ Society.
