Harbour Festival set to celebrate 50th anniversary in style this summer
Bristol Harbour Festival is one-mile long and attracts more than 250,000 visitors to enjoy more than 120 hours of entertainment across seven stages.
In 2022, the annual event is celebrating its 50th year showcasing Bristol talent, from music to dance, circus to watery fun.
This year’s festival, taking place from July 15 to 17, has now opened an expression of interest programme for anyone wanting to perform.

Cabinet member Ellie King said that the return of the Harbour Festival for the first time since 2019 “marks a turning moment in Bristol’s recent history”.
She said: “It represents a new beginning by celebrating the backbone of the city’s heritage. The festival will provide opportunities for communities across the city to get involved through art and music projects whilst providing the chance for individuals or groups to perform to an audience of tens of thousands.
“With over one mile of entertainment planned across the harbourside, this year’s festival provides the perfect setting for us all to reconnect with the city and our communities.”
