NASS confirm Kano and Wiley as 2017 headliners

By Ngaio Anyia  Thursday Feb 2, 2017

NASS Festival brings grime royalty to the South West as Kano becomes the latest headliner to be announced for the action sports and music festival near Bristol this year.

Fresh off the back of the mercury nominated, Made in the Manor, his most successful album to date, the MOBO award winning Kano heads to NASS which runs Thursday, July 6th to Sunday, July 9th.

Joining Kano is the forefather of UK grime Wiley, whose latest album, the aptly named Godfather, dropped earlier this month.

The latest headline announcement comes hot off the tail of last week’s first line-up announcement featuring Australian drum ‘n’ bass and electronic rock outfit Pendulum and Sigma Live.

The second drop of acts will artists such as grime MC and producer Preditah, drum and bass outfit Bad Company UK, multi award-winning drum and bass MC, Eksman as well as Matrix & Futurebound, Hazard, Dimension, Nu: Tone b2b Logistics, Mala, Crissy Criss b2b Mampi Swift with Carasel & Unknown and Kingston based reggae studio, Channel One taking over the stage.

DJ, and one-time producer for Wiley, Skepta and Roots Manuva, Toddla T joins the billing along with Dutch electro outfit Noisia plus  drum and bass, liquid funk and garage DJ Danny Byrd.

In addition to a stellar music line up, international athletes from the world of Skate and BMX will compete over the weekend at an event that features a 15ft Vert Ramp (the tallest in Europe) as well as a pro park, dirt jumps, street sports and public courses and ramps.
