Preview: Love Saves the Day 2022
The much loved festival has been an integral part of Bristol’s music scene for a decade now. The outdoor festival was first held in Castle Park before moving to Eastville Park and then a one-off visit to the Downs before heading to their new location this year.
Celebrating their tenth anniversary in 2022, Love Saves the Day will be moving to their biggest site to date at Ashton Court over the extended bank holiday.
The festival prides itself on its diverse lineup with big names from the UK as well as local legends in attendance. Giving a platform to some of the freshest faces on the underground scene, LSTD will be hosting even more top acts with two more stages added for this year.

The team behind the festival also launched their sustainability awareness campaign in May, using the No Music on a Dead Planet pledge as a key communication point for artists and attendees.
They have partnered with Big Green Coach to offer green options for those attending from outside of the city. Other key initiatives include a ban on single use plastic, compost toilets and an increase in vegetarian and vegan food traders.

This year’s lineup includes over 175 artists with big names such as Bicep, The Blessed Madonna, Patrick Topping x Eats Everything and Kurupt FM performing on the first day. The following day, major headliners include Chase & Status, Mura Masa and My Nu Leng.
Pauline Bourdon, Sustainability Manager at Team Love explains: “The festival is our love letter to music, its communities, and the planet.
We believe we have a responsibility to inspire awareness and changes in the local area, emphasising the duty of care towards future generations and communities, to make sure they can also experience the benefits of live music, arts, and culture for years to come.”
