Texan music event hosts UK debut in Bristol
A festival concept that started life in Austin, Texas, is holding its UK debut in Bristol.
On Saturday, Lost Horizon will play host to Volcom Garden Experience – a day of creativity that highlights local creators, musicians and artists.
The event has two parts: a creative market during the day and live bands, DJs and Bristol food vendors Soul Dough Pizza and A Little Taquero during the evening.

Founded in 1991, Volcom is an American founded skatewear and lifestyle brand, and brings together skateboarding, surfing, music and art cultures.

The creative market will host artists and creatives whose work revolves around the Volcom universe including Lovenskate, Rerun Streetwear and Longfox Studio.
The Bristol instalment of the festival will feature an eclectic line-up of bands and DJs including Fat Tony, Zed Bias and Mutilated State, a punk band from Bristol.

As well as hosting music and art, there will be skateboarding performances as well as competitions with big prizes.
Volcom communications officer Lucy Stephens said: “It’s going to be a really great day showcasing all of the amazing art and music people are making.”
“We want to bring the Bristol skate community together and we’re so excited to be hosting our event at Lost Horizon.”
