New cafe opens next to Bristol Bus Station
A new cafe has opened next to Bristol Bus Station.
Santiago’s on Cannon Street cafe boasts a range of hot drinks, refreshments, cakes, meals and snacks – all at an inexpensive rate.
The main goal of owner Sam is not only to provide customers with welcoming and satisfactory service but also to “give back to the community” with some of the profits going to charity.
is needed now More than ever
With food being made fresh and in small quantities by their chef, the team also consider themselves to be “environmentally conscious”.
The site itself, which use to house Cafe Refectoire, sits among some of the neighbouring church’s beautiful architecture and artwork, providing a scenic atmosphere to accompany the homey feel.

At Santiago’s, a cup of tea costs a quid
The most popular dishes and drinks featuring on the menu include lasagne, roast chicken, fresh panini (priced at £1.75, or £2.75 with a side of fries), lattes and hot chocolates.
Sam added: “Santiago’s is a cafe that is available to everyone, especially during this difficult time and with people working on minimum wage.”
“We’re not in it for the money, but to give back to the community.”
