Speciality coffee served at new cafe on College Green

By Bristol24/7  Friday Feb 23, 2018

Sip is a new cafe on College Green opposite the Marriott Royal hotel which aims to satisfy the coffee, brunch and lunch market in this corner of town.

With beans roasted by Clifton Coffee and freshly baked bread from The Bristol Loaf in Redfield, it has certainly opened with some top notch suppliers.

Breakfasts include a full English for £7.95, a vegetarian version for £6.95 and a bacon sandwich for £3.75.

For fans of puns and Mexican flowering plants, ‘Sipovado’ toast is Sip’s take on avocado toast – served on sourdough with avocado dressed with chilli and lime honey, and coming with two poached eggs and tomatoes.

Opened in what was most recently Dizzy’s Cafe and before then a shoe repair shop, Sip is definitely worth a trip.
