The Hideaway Cafe
Hideaway by name and hideaway by nature, The Hideaway Cafe can be found most Sundays underneath the M32 at the edge of Eastville Park.
The cafe is a simple affair, with tea and coffee for just £1, bagels, wraps, homemade soups and sandwiches, and gooey chocolate cakes made by the owner’s sister.
A few tables and chairs made for a welcome pitstop this weekend, made even more pleasant by perusing the Sunday papers.
is needed now More than ever
The Hideaway Cafe can also be found at various events across Bristol including Make Sunday Special but may not be staying at their most well-known home for much longer.
A move to the playground area of Eastville Park is desired but Bristol City Council don’t seem too keen on this seemingly sensible suggestion.
