The Kingfisher Cafe

Two empty units have been transformed into a friendly and welcoming new cafe in Fishponds.

Warm the welcome may have been, but there was still a cold chill inside on a chilly Thursday morning. Nothing a few more powerful heaters can’t fix.

Tempting cakes sit on the counter, but don’t ruin your appetite as more food made on the premises includes French onion soup, mackerel pate and salmon en croute.

The French theme continues with paintings of Paris on one wall, while wooden dressers, and china cups and saucers could all come out of a handbook for chintzy cafe designs.

Cream teas are also served here in a welcome new addition to Fishponds.
