Your Bristol Favourites: Burgers

By Meg Houghton-Gilmour  Monday May 16, 2022

We asked Bristol24/7 readers on Instagram for their recommendations for the best burgers in Bristol.

These were the places that received the most love:

Squeezed
Unit 4, Cargo 1, Wapping Wharf, BS1 6WE
www.bristolsqueezed.co.uk

Squeezed received the most love in our instagram poll and those who have tried their burgers will know why! The St Werburger is a classic and the frequent specials are always inventive. Plus there couldn’t be a more scenic spot to stuff your face with a burger – they’re right on the harbourside. Don’t forget to check out their sister restaurant Dog Town round the corner too!

Asado

www.asadobristol.com

Asado are local legends. Meaning ‘barbecue’ in Spanish, all asado burgers are cooked over a wood-fired grill. They’ve got a generous menu with beef, veggie and chicken options and sides that you’ll be thinking about for weeks to come. Stay tuned for an exciting collaboration between the Asado team and New Bristol Brewery coming soon!

The place to go if you want a burger on a boat, Three Brothers is truly fun for all the family with a comprehensive menu including lots of plant-based options. They’re in an ideal spot for a filling and delicious dinner before, during or after a King Street drinking session. Be sure to check out their lunch deal if you’re in the area between 12-5!

Oowee
North Street, Picton Street and Baldwin Street

Oowee’s meteoric rise in Bristol can be accredited to their deliciously dirty menu, their commitment to forging the plant-based path and to the great Bristol ‘burger apocalypse‘ of 2019. Garlic butter waffle fries anyone?
