Your Bristol favourites: Pizza
This month, Bristol24/7 readers have been coming up with their favourite places for pizza. In alphabetical order, here are 10 of the best:
A Capella
184c Wells Road, BS4 2AL
The Guardian weren’t wrong a few years ago when they named this place the best in Bristol for pizza. They should pay another visit soon as the restaurant has just had a fab refurb.
Lindsay Bolton
Beerd
157-159 St Michael’s Hill, BS2 8DB
Beer and pizza for the win. Try the weekday lunchtime offer: a 9″ pizza with two toppings for just £4.95, and maybe a cheeky third of a local ale before heading back to work.
Joe Morton
Bosco
96 Whiteladies Road, BS8 2QZ
I’ve tried almost all the pizza places in Bristol…but for the last year, I’ve been loyal to Bosco. Their pizzas are unique. Small pizza menu but all as delicious as the others. Lovely dough and incredible toppings. The staff and the atmosphere are also super friendly, and I love the music as well!

Flour & Ash
38 High Street, Westbury-On-Trym, BS9 3DZ
203b Cheltenham Road, BS6 5QX

La Piazza
777 Fishponds Road, BS16 3BS
La Piazza was making Fishponds cool long before the likes of the Lounge and Burger Joint came to join the party. I’ve enjoyed many meals here and it’s always a great atmosphere.
Charlotte Martin
Proven
33 St Stephen’s Street, BS1 1JX
New York-style pizza by the slice by the team behind Bagel Boy. They’re so cool they even closed the road outside their restaurant for a block party earlier this summer.
Dan Dawson
Ray’s Pizza
Crofters Rights, 117-119 Stokes Croft, BS1 3RW
It’s the only pizza I have tasted in the UK which resembles a traditional Italian pizza. I recently took a group of lads from out-of-town prior to a pub crawl, and they agreed that it was the best pizza they’ve ever had, and are reluctant to go back to franchised pizza joints.
Liam Cross
Sergio’s
1-3 Frogmore Street, BS1 5NA
An archetypal Italian trattoria hidden away just off the bottom of Park Street. I always have the seafood pizza. It’s lush.
Dani Wild
The Stable
Canon’s Road, BS1 5UH
This place would be my local if there was one in Portishead. The pizzas are fresh, taste amazing good, feels like you could be eating them in Rome! If you like proper cider this is the place to go… with so many to choose from. Good value for money, with Tuesday special offer of Pizza, Cider and side salad all for a £10!

Wood Chop Pizza
www.woodchoppizza.co.uk
wood chop pizza at the harbour market every Thursday or Saturday/Sunday in Bristol – best pizza ever!
