Your chance to submit ideas for Bristol Food Connections 2018
People across Bristol are being urged to play their part in a unique week this summer where food takes over the city.
Bristol Food Connections returns from June 11-17 2018, with this year’s event aiming to shine a light on all the wonderful work people are doing with food and drink in and around Bristol, themed around time.
Festival organisers are now inviting people to come together to co-create the festival so that it is truly representative of Bristol; with Bristol City Council already awarding grants of up to £1000 to support community events taking place during the week.
is needed now More than ever
Bristol Food Connections chief executive said Claire Peeters said: “We’re really excited about this year’s Bristol Food Connections as the event is going to be a bit different to previous years; instead of a village of white tents in the city centre which is ‘here today, gone tomorrow’, we are putting our energy behind supporting a citywide partnership event which aims to connect the WHOLE city, celebrate what Bristol is really about and leave a legacy of good food long after the festival is over.
“For this to be truly representative of Bristol, we need the people of Bristol to get involved and host their own events – with a guiding hand from our team!”
