By Martin Booth  Friday Mar 11, 2022

A brand new beer festival is coming to Bristol.

Hopyard promises to showcase “the very best of Bristol’s beer brewing talent… to satisfy the taste buds of the city’s beer enthusiasts”.

A dozen local breweries are taking part in the event just ahead of the Easter weekend, with street food and music alongside delicious beer.

Hopyard organisers say: “The two-day event will offer drinks, eats and beats as it brings together the very best pours and pairs them with funky tracks from sought-after DJ and producer, Maxxi Soundsystem & Friends.

“Attendees can also look forward to some of Bristol’s most stellar street food from sourdough pizza connoisseurs, Pizzarova, Palestinian-inspired kitchen, Jafra Kitchen and Hawaiian poké bowl restaurant, Loki Poké – all ready to serve up their best munch.

“With a variety of ticket pricing options available, event-goers will be able to pre-pay for all of their beer and food in advance – and then sample what’s on offer with brewers from each taproom talking guests through their creations in the intimate and beautiful courtyard at Propyard.

“Taking place at the incredible multi-space venue in the heart of Bristol, there will be plenty of seating and cover under the festival’s stretch tents, plus the Crane Room open long into the evening for the party to continue.

“The event will be Propyard’s first edition of Hopyard, with beer lovers ready to drink, eat and dance their way into the Easter weekend.”

Daytime and evening tickets for Hopyard on April 14 and 15 are available from www.skiddle.com/whats-on/Bristol/Propyard/Hopyard.
