A brand new whisky festival, Whisky Bristol, takes place for one afternoon only on Saturday, September 9 at the underground surroundings of the Loco Klub next to Temple Meads.

Visitors will be able to sample more than 200 whiskies, paired with live music, street food and cigar workshops.

Whisky Bristol is a collaboration between entrepreneurs Chris Borrow and Amy Seton.

Local whisky expert Chris, also the founder of online whisky club The Dram Team, believes Bristol is the perfect place for events such as these.

“Bristol is an amazing city for creative events of all types, as well as a genuine nirvana for foodies and sophisticated drinkers alike,” he explains.

“We wanted to give local whisky lovers an occasion where they can experience fantastic whiskies in a true festival atmosphere, celebrating all that is great about Bristol’s food and drinks scene in a stunning and historic setting.

“It’s going to be a lot of fun!”
