Little French and Little Shop & Pantry will be the latest businesses to take over the King Street kitchens, following in the footsteps of Pizzarova and Grano.
Little French on North View offers unpretentious French food from head chef and owner Freddy Bird, who later opened Little Shop & Pantry on nearby Northumbria Drive which have recently announced they will soon be expanding into the former Westbury Inks next door in order to offer more indoor seating.

Freddy Bird said that he is “honoured” to be the next pop-up at Bristol Old Vic, which will be known as littlevic (not to be confused with Little Victories cafe in Wapping Wharf).
“The chance to bring our signature style of food and the littlefrench philosophy to this iconic building in the heart of Bristol is genuinely exciting,” Bird said.
“At littlevic we will share all the things that people love about Little French using the very best ingredients from our beloved producers and local suppliers.
“The size of the space and the diverse audience means we can showcase our food beyond French cooking, and share some of our most favourite dishes.”

Bristol Old Vic executive director, Charlotte Geeves, said that Little French “is the perfect partner for us”.
She added: “The relaxed, informal style of Freddy’s food and hospitality are legendary and fit perfectly with Bristol Old Vic’s welcome to everyone across the city.
“We are so excited to see how the ‘little’ restaurant with a big heart can bring some of its trademark creativity and fun to our autumn season.”
