Award-winning Bristol restaurant for sale

By Martin Booth  Thursday Aug 29, 2019

A restaurant that only in June was named as one of the best in Bristol in National Geographic is up for sale.

Bellita on Cotham Hill opened in 2015. It closed in early July for what was only meant to be a fortnight, but it has not yet reopened its doors.

The recently refurbished restaurant is now being advertised to let at £20,000 per year.

Bellita opened on Cotham Hill in 2015

Bellita’s website still calls the restaurant “the boisterous little sister” of Bell’s Diner & Bar Rooms, which itself closed earlier this year after four decades – with the Montpelier site due to reopen on Thursday as Bianchis from the same team as Pasta Loco opposite Bellita (in a building that used to be Flinty Red).

Bellita won  Best Tapas in the Bristol Good Food Awards 2016, and was recommended in the Waitrose Good Food Guide and in the Michelin Guide.
