Brewdog apply to extend opening hours of Harbourside bar
Just 15 months after scaling back opening hours at their new Bristol bar following fierce opposition, BrewDog have applied to extend the opening hours of the outside seating area.
The Scottish brewery want to extend the outdoor licensing hours at their bar in the Harbourside by one hour to 10.30pm and the clearing of tables by one hour to 11pm.
One resident told Bristol24/7 that this “will inevitably lead to late night noise and drunken behaviour” around the bar on Millennium Promenade.
is needed now More than ever
Before they opened their second Bristol bar in July 2022, the craft beer bar chain applied for a late-night licence to sell alcohol until 1.30am in the former Triathlon Shop and Costa.
But it agreed to bring forward last orders by up to two hours and to make other concessions after the authorities and 165 neighbours objected to the licensing application.
Anybody wishing to comment on BrewDog’s latest application needs to email licensing@bristol.gov.uk by Thursday.
