BrewDog want to open new Bristol bar

By Martin Booth  Monday Nov 1, 2021

BrewDog opened their first bar in Bristol to much fanfare in 2012.

Now, almost a decade later, the Scottish ‘punks’ are looking to open their second outpost in our city.

BrewDog have attracted much controversy in recent years, with former staff accusing the firm of a “culture of fear” in which workers were bullied and “treated like objects”.

A license application from BrewDog is for a craft beer bar to open as late as 2am on Friday and Saturday nights.

The application is for the unit in Millennium Promenade in the Harbourside that was most recently The Triathlon Shop and which is now next door to the Lane 7 bowling alley.
