Brewery’s plans for new tap bar and grill in Stokes Croft
The owners of New Bristol Brewery have big plans to open a new bar and restaurant in a prominent location.
Noel and Maria James, who run the small craft ale brewing business on Wilson Street in St Paul’s, have confirmed they have submitted a licensing application for the proposed venture in the newly redeveloped Carriageworks in Stokes Croft.
While they are unable to reveal more information at this stage, the application details plans for a cafe, bar and restaurant.
is needed now More than ever
It requests a licence for the sale of alcohol on and off the premises at 104A Stokes Croft, from 10am to 11pm Monday to Sunday, with the proposed opening hours of 8.30am to 11.30pm daily.

From their current premises, Noel and Maria brew beer in small batches and like to experiment with the likes of citrus-soaked session beers, mango and coconut IPAs and blow-torched brown sugar and coffee-infused stouts.
The taproom on Wilson Street is currently open for limited hours on Fridays and Saturdays and for special events.
This new venture on the site of the historic Westmoreland House – in close proximity to the brewery – would see the business expand its offering.
