Bristol brewery named best in the UK

By Martin Booth  Monday Dec 12, 2022

A Bristol brewery has not only been named the UK’s best brewery of the year at a prestigious awards ceremony but also picked up the award beer of the year.

Lost & Grounded of St Anne’s received the award for the best UK brewery at the Brewers Congress Brewing Awards 2022.

At the same awards ceremony in London, the brewery picked up the prize for best beer of the year for their Helles lager.

“Absolutely thrilled – love our team so much!” Lost & Grounded wrote on Twitter. “Let the celebrations begin!
Huge thank you to the judges and sponsors.”

Lost & Grounded co-founder Alex Troncoso tweeted: “Very proud of the entire team, and also great to see a lager win beer of the year that we essentially developed on the back of a beer mat. Thanks to @BrewJournal, all the judges and sponsors.”
