Bristol business celebrating home cooks launches in Bath
Sometimes, a takeaway just doesn’t cut it and only homemade food will do.
Claire Ladkin, founder of All About The Cooks would certainly agree.
Following her time as chair of Bristol Food Connections, Claire was inspired to start ‘the etsy of home cooking’ to make it possible for home cooks to share their cuisine and their story with other people in their community.
All About The Cooks’ customers are supporting their neighbours at the same time as sharing their food. Over £40,000 has already been paid to local cooks since the marketplace’s launch – giving them the opportunity to make money from their talents and re-investing in small business and communities.

Having secured over £300k in equity crowdfunding following their success in Bristol, Claire and her team plan to launch their marketplace in six new cities over the next year, starting with Bath.
Expanding their business isn’t the only All About The Cooks success story. Trung Trinh joined all about the cooks in 2020 when he started selling Vietnamese food through the platform. He quickly became one of the most popular cooks, giving him the confidence to realise his dreams of cooking full time. Earlier this year, Trung opened his first restaurant, The Saigon Kitchen on Zetland Road.

From Tuesday, customers in Bath will be able to enjoy Mahesh’s tasteful Thali and Filipino dishes by Russell and Quelly, Turkish delights and Iranian vegetarian plates from Simi, and well-loved Mexican date-night classics by Ross and Josh, plus much more.

All About The Cooks plan to become the go-to place to buy home-cooked food in the UK and beyond. Claire’s vision is that one day, you’ll be able to enjoy home-cooked food from local people wherever you are in the world.
