By Martin Booth  Monday Mar 9, 2020

Bristol coffee roasters Extract have teamed up with a bicycle stunt team to launch a new filter coffee.

To mark the new collaboration, Extract invited Fusion Extreme into their St Werburgh’s roastery to perform a few tricks.

Gemma Screen from Extract said: “Fusion Extreme’s ethos, ‘No limits to inspire and motivate’, really struck a chord with how we feel at Extract Coffee Roasters.

“Extract and Fusion share a passion for bikes, boards and coffee. For pushing limits and accessibility – whether that’s making BMXing or single-origin coffees.

“Working together to create a coffee for Fusion Extreme was an exciting project for us to work on.”

The new coffee is a single-estate filter coffee, sourced from Finca Veracruz, part of the Santa Barbara Estate in Colombia, a farm that Extract have worked with for nearly 10 years.

Extract head of coffee, Ashlee Eastwood-Quinn, added: “Veracruz produces some of the finest Colombian coffee we’ve ever tasted, and for this reason we return to them year after year.”
